Social Network

Dan and I saw this movie tonight.  It was eye opening and an amazing story.  Highly recommended.

The Kids are All Right

I just saw this movie at the Bijou, and recommend it (I think Dan would enjoy it too). If you see it, tell me if you think Annette Bening reminds you of Allison Shiboski!

Nelson Mandela

Just started his autobiography "Long Walk to Freedom".   Wish be luck...it's 625 pages!
I guess I'm into autobiographys right now.  Next in line is the Diary of Anne Frank....my favorite book of all times and it's about time to read it again.

My Favorite Pair. . .

So, I love pairs--pairs of shoes, pairs of super cute socks, pairs of earrings! And who doesn't love a fantastic pair of jeans? Do you have pair that you turn to, your "go to" pair? My latest are my AG Jessie's. Fantastic boot cut with a great dark color and fantastic fit, so fantastic in fact that I didn't have them altered at all! I bought them on a whim while visiting their shop in NYC while visiting friends in April. I was literally in jean heaven! It's fantastic to find a brand that fits your body. I wear them constantly, maybe so much in fact that they may be wearing out too soon. So my latest dilemma is this--do I bite the bullet and buy a second pair now while they're half off? The pair is not cheap, but a good deal in the realm of designer jeans (possibly one I can't find again!). But I promised myself "no new jeans until after the holidays". So, what do I do--what would you do? Is there any weakness that you're constantly caving to?

Bag It - the movie

This was the Audience choice at MountainFilm Festival in Telluride this year. You can see the trailer on this link, and hopefully we can watch the movie some time. I hear it's inspiring, motivating and funny. Plastic is a big global issue. Let's get the word out.

first recommendation

Ok, so I've only just begun Andre Agassi's autobiography entitled "Open", but I'm pretty sure I'm going to give it a big thumbs up.
